ZenPal Terms of Use and Community Safety Agreement
Last updated: July 1, 2026
By creating an account, signing in, or using ZenPal, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use ZenPal.
1. ZenPal Is a Wellness App, Not Medical Care
ZenPal provides journaling, mood tracking, meditation, gamified wellness tools, community support, friend messaging, and an AI wellness companion named Izzy. ZenPal does not provide medical, mental health, therapy, diagnosis, treatment, emergency, or crisis services. Izzy is not a licensed therapist or medical professional.
If you are in danger, experiencing a crisis, or thinking about self-harm, contact emergency services or a crisis hotline immediately.
2. User-Generated Content
ZenPal allows users to create and share content, including community posts, comments, reactions, profile information, display names, friend messages, and other submitted content.
You are responsible for all content you create or share. Posting anonymously does not exempt you from these Terms or from moderation.
3. Zero Tolerance for Objectionable Content and Abusive Users
ZenPal has no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users.
You may not post, send, upload, encourage, or promote content that includes:
- Harassment, bullying, threats, intimidation, or targeted abuse
- Hate speech or attacks based on identity or protected characteristics
- Sexually explicit, exploitative, or inappropriate content
- Content encouraging self-harm, suicide, eating disorders, or dangerous behavior
- Graphic violence, threats of violence, or promotion of illegal activity
- Spam, scams, phishing, unsolicited promotion, or repetitive disruptive content
- Misinformation that may cause harm
- Impersonation or deceptive identity behavior
- Sharing another person’s private information without consent
- Profanity, abusive language, or content otherwise unsuitable for a supportive wellness community
4. Content Filtering and Moderation
ZenPal uses automated keyword filtering, safety checks, user reports, blocking tools, and human review to detect and moderate objectionable content.
We may remove, hide, restrict, or review any content at any time. We may suspend, eject, or permanently remove users who violate these Terms, with or without notice.
5. Reporting Objectionable Content
Users can flag objectionable community posts or comments using the report option in the app. Reports may include categories such as harassment, hate speech, sexual content, self-harm, spam, misinformation, impersonation, or other abusive behavior.
When content is reported, ZenPal creates a moderation report for developer review.
6. Blocking Abusive Users
Users can block abusive users from posts, comments, or user profiles in the app. Blocking a user immediately removes that user’s posts and comments from the blocking user’s feed and view.
Blocking also notifies ZenPal by creating a moderation report so the developer can review the abusive behavior.
7. 24-Hour Enforcement
ZenPal reviews reports of objectionable content and abusive behavior within 24 hours.
If a report confirms a violation, ZenPal will remove the offending content and eject, suspend, or ban the user who provided the offending content.
8. Respectful Community Standard
ZenPal is intended to be a supportive wellness space. Users must communicate respectfully and may not use the app to abuse, exploit, threaten, shame, harass, or harm others.
9. Account Termination
We may restrict, suspend, or terminate your access to ZenPal if you violate these Terms, misuse the app, abuse other users, or create safety risks for the community.
10. Privacy
Your use of ZenPal is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Community content may be visible to other users. Friend messages and personal wellness content are handled according to our Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of ZenPal after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Contact
For questions, safety concerns, or moderation issues, contact us at support@lindahillofficial.com or through the support/contact option in the app.
